Bridging the Gap

English Drama Short Thriller Psychological

Bridging the Gap follows the intense encounter between Nedu, a physically impaired young protester, and Officer Danjuma, a conflicted police officer, during a violent crackdown on peaceful demonstrations in Lagos, Nigeria. As both men hide together in the aftermath of a protest, they are forced to confront their opposing views on Nigeria’s social and political crisis. Through a tense dialogue, they explore themes of generational conflict, police brutality, and the fight for justice. Featuring real footage from the 2020 EndSARS protests, this film captures the emotional and ideological divide while ultimately questioning what it means to build a better future for a divided nation.
