La Fuga (The Escape)
THE ESCAPE. Rodrigo Quintero is a businessman from the city of Pereira, Colombia, who in 1989, due to certain mistakes from his past, ends up fleeing his country and is imprisoned in the National Jail of Panama; a country governed at that time by the dictatorship of General Manuel Antonio Noriega. Sergeant Lino, the prison director, protected by the corrupt military government, begins to extort him with the threat of being extradited to the United States of America; in the end, Rodrigo is pushed to his physical and mental limits in his struggle to escape and find his freedom.
