Director's Note: Over the past three years, approximately three million or more children have gone missing in India. Among these children, about 71% are girls, making it one of the largest contributors to the country's worst crimes. While women are becoming victims of domestic violence on one side, on the other side, girl children are going missing. This poses a significant challenge to the Department of Home, while society watches with helplessness. The missing children are victims, how many children have been found, how many have fallen victim to death... The effort to find answers to all these questions is - Lacchi.
