Three Stories Around a Café

This film consists of three distinct episodes, all set in the same location: a cozy café. Each episode explores a unique story, but they are all tied together by the presence of the café owner and the theme of misunderstandings—about others, events, or even oneself

Episode 1

In the first episode, a middle-aged man battles loneliness. His severe stuttering makes it difficult for him to connect with new people. One day, he meets a young deaf woman in the café. Over time, they build a profound bond where communication transcends words, relying instead on gestures and emotions.

Episode 2

The second episode shifts focus to the perspectives of individuals with disabilities. The café is filled with customers who have various physical or mental challenges, yet they each have their dreams and fears. This story highlights their struggles, but also celebrates the beauty and hope that exist within their lives.

Episode 3

The final episode follows a man grieving the loss of his wife. Consumed by sorrow, he plans to end his life and visits the café to say his final goodbyes. However, the café owner strikes up a conversation with him, offering a glimpse of hope and a new understanding of life’s meaning.

The Café Owner as a Symbol

In all three episodes, the café owner serves as the only recurring character. He doesn’t merely run the café but observes and subtly influences the events around him.

Together, these three episodes form a unified narrative that delves into humanity, connections, and the transformative power of hope
